Through major investment in state-of-the art machine tools and test equipment at our three sites in Coatbridge, Douglas and Stockton we have aspired to be Europe’s leading independent contract manufacturing company.
Year on year the company has increased its capability and capacity to manufacture, assemble and test the designs and equipment of our clients in a way that provides them with a credible, risk free, commercially viable outsourcing alternative to expensive in-house production.
Capabilities
KRG Industries Ltd have internal NDT capabilities for Magnetic, Penetrant and Ultrasonic testing as well as Radiograph Interpretation and CSWIP qualified inspectors, all to level II and we have SNT-TC-1A Written Practise, written by our nominated Level III (Mike Mullins Level III of Argyll-Ruane Ltd).

CNC Horizontal Boring
Components up to 2.5 metres x 2.0 metres x 1.5 metres capacity and 9 tons in weight can be machined on our Horizontal Boring Machines.
Each machine is fully equipped with standard tooling and contouring heads.
CNC Vertical Turning
Components up to 98 inches under the rail and 12 tons in weight can be machined on our Vertical turning Lathes.
All machines are fully loaded with standard tooling.

CNC Milling
KRG offer a wide range of machines within our CNC milling department. Equipped with single and indexable pallet changing machines, our milling facilities can deliver a diverse range of machined products on multi-axis within our CNC milling machine tools 800mm & 400mm square tables on both horizontal and vertical twin pallet machines enhance the productivity and consistency on each machine tool. Each machine has 30 to 40 fully automated tool magazines and is backed up with a wide range of accessories, such as 4th axis machining used widely for the machining of helical details.
CNC Turning
KRG has a fully equipped CNC turning section, we are able to offer a wide range of machining from 1/8th" to 32 diameters.
Each machine is fully tooled and is backed up with various accessories such as steady's and bar feeds, greatly enhancing their performance.
All machines are directly linked to D.N.C. software which ensures the accurate production of complex components.
Inconel Clad Welding
With a total of 6 Fronius Cladding Stations our facilities are equipped with turntables, up to 2.5m diameter, and a 4m height capacity. We can take components up to 10 ton on the large turntables and 5 ton on the small turntables.
Non Destructive Testing (NDT)
KRG has internal NDT capabilities for Magnetic, Penetrant and Ultrasonic testing as well as Radiograph Interpretation and CSWIP qualified inspectors, all to level II and we have SNT-TC-1A Written Practice, written by our nominated Level III.

Design
KRG does not design any of its own original products but we do provide the engineering expertise to assist our client’s in devising the highest quality, most cost-effective product possible. Our manufacturing engineers can work alongside a client’s own designers or engineers to help improve the quality and ease of manufacturing to increase cost and time savings.
